The Latino Alliance of Northwest Ohio (LANWO) is proud to present The Latino Alliance Professional Scholarship award once a year. The LANWO is committed to the Latino community and has established a small scholarship for graduate school students and professionals. The purpose of this scholarship is designed to cover the following types of expenses:
- Professional training (leadership and/or professional development)
- Fees related to board or state tests, certifications
- Tuition expenses, fees, books, etc.
As an active member of LANWO, you can apply for a scholarship of up to $500.
The scholarship/stipend form must be completed and emailed to latinoalliancenwo@gmail.com. All scholarship forms are dependent on approval by the LANWO executive board.
Once the scholarship form is approved, The Latino Alliance of Northwest Ohio will contact you directly. Please allow 2-3 weeks after the submission deadline of the scholarship to receive your award.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active, paid member of LANWO
- Be of Hispanic/Latino heritage
- Reside in Northwest Ohio
- Provide receipts or invoices for training, books, fees, etc.
Mission of The Latino Alliance of Northwest Ohio
The mission of the Latino Alliance is to foster a positive working relationship among Latino-focused agencies, Latino individuals, and other organizations, groups, and individuals that serve Latinos in the Northwest Ohio area.
