Lucas County Flash Mob

We are inviting you to participate in a flash mob to bring awareness about the youth and young adults dying in Toledo Ohio Lucas County. The flash mob will take place on Friday, September 16, 2023, at Joe E. Brown Park. We will be dancing and holding signs to raise awareness about this important issue.

We want to make sure that this event is safe and respectful for everyone involved. Therefore, we ask that you please:

Arrive early so that we can go over the safety plan.
Be mindful of your surroundings and avoid any behaviors that could put yourself or others at risk.
Dress in comfortable clothing that you can move around in.
Bring a sign or wear clothing that shows your support for the cause.
We hope you will join us in raising awareness about this important issue. Together, we can make a difference!

Safety Guidelines

The flash mob will take place in a public space, so it is important to be aware of your surroundings and avoid any behaviors that could put yourself or others at risk.
If you see anything that makes you feel unsafe, please report it to a staff member or security guard.
Be mindful of your personal belongings and do not leave them unattended.
If you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed, please take a break and step away from the crowd.
We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience, so please help us by following these guidelines. If you or a loved one has lost someone in the past 24 months please contact us so that we may showcase your child or young adults and raise awareness about gun violence and the suicide rates in Lucas County.
